Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church was not just a pure painting job but it proved to be a restoration. The beautiful church deserved every bit of our attention and dedication in restoring the half of a century-old church to near it's beginning's, vibrancy. From refinishing wood doors; trim and paneling; re-coating metal doors and rails; to painting the three story-plus high walls; repairing heavily water damaged stained glass window frames; and all from scaffolding on the challenging sloped floor of the cathedral.
The beauty and the spiritual uplifting that it brought to us was inspiring and wonderful. Seeing the restoring of that church towards it’s original beauty was not only as uplifting to us, as we are sure it is to it’s parish.
The De Anza Motor Lodge was restored with our repairs and painting assistance. Not only did the exterior and interior painting bring back life to the administrative area but we also painted the interiors and exteriors of the adjacent townhouses.
In keeping with our motto and our mission, we added to the beauty and rebirth of historic Route 66 (Central Avenue) and to our beloved state of New Mexico.
This ABB project took almost a year from start to finish, as we painted the complete interior and exterior. We had to spray heavy-textured paint on exteriors of the tilt-up walls. Inside, we had to spread what seemed like miles of plastic sheeting to prevent and protect from Dryfall ceiling paint, settling on finished concrete floors.
What was especially rewarding was that the huge project not only brought great economic value to Albuquerque and our state, but it assisted in financially rebounding New Mexico from the negative affects of the COVID era. KOAT TV featured the completed ABB ELECTROSTATIC PRODUCTS manufacturer on it’s newscasts.
